Police Parade Father, Mother, Son, and Three Others for the Murder of Health College Student in Kwara

The Kwara State Police Command has paraded six suspects allegedly involved in the killing of Ogungbenro Blessing, a female student of the College of Health and Technology in Offa.

According to Olaiya, the suspect abandoned the lifeless body of Mojisola in a hotel room, locked the room, and fled with her iPhone and N15,600. He later returned to Offa, hiding the stolen phone in his hostel wardrobe.

Following an investigation, the suspect’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Adebayo Adeniyi, were arrested for attempting to tamper with evidence. Mrs. Adeniyi had removed the SIM card from the stolen iPhone and hidden it in a wall near their home.

Despite the suspect’s initial claim of discarding the phone in the Afelele River, both the phone and SIM card were recovered. It was further revealed that hotel staff unlawfully disposed of the deceased’s body at a refuse dump.

All suspects involved have been apprehended and are in custody, facing charges of criminal conspiracy and evidence tampering. The investigation is ongoing, and the police assure the public that justice will be served.
