Former U.S. President, Donald Trump, Acknowledged He Occasionally Regrets Some Of His Posts On Social Media Platform

In a recent interview with Lex Fridman, former U.S. President Donald Trump admitted to occasionally regretting some of his posts on Truth Social, the platform he co-founded in 2021.

However, he emphasized that such moments of regret are infrequent.

When asked if he ever reconsiders his more controversial posts, Trump acknowledged having some regrets, though they are rare.

“It’s only occasionally,” Trump remarked, noting that he generally feels confident about the posts he writes himself. He admitted that most of his regrets come from reposting others’ content, which can lead to problems due to the affiliations of the original posters.

Trump also praised the success of Truth Social, describing it as his “typewriter,” and mentioned that he sometimes posts while in bed.

Despite occasional doubts, he remains committed to the platform’s mission and its “powerful truths.”

One post he might regret involved a recent re-share featuring Vice President Kamala Harris and Hillary Clinton, which included a controversial caption that drew criticism.

The post, which included a provocative comment referencing their careers, received significant criticism.
