Rapper Blueface now serving his 4-year jail sentence

Rapper Blueface has officially begun his four-year prison sentence after being transferred from Men’s Central Jail in downtown Los Angeles to North Kern State Prison in central California.

TMZ obtained Blueface’s latest mugshot, taken on Thursday when he entered the medium-security prison’s general population. The rapper, famous for his chart-topping songs, will now have access to programs aimed at preparing inmates for life after incarceration.

Despite his success as an artist, Blueface will have the opportunity to participate in North Kern’s educational and vocational programs, which help inmates reintegrate into society. These include Adult Basic Education, High School/GED preparation, and vocational training, along with religious services, self-help groups, and substance abuse programs.

Blueface’s imprisonment follows a four-year sentence issued last month for violating probation related to a 2021 assault charge. After turning himself in this January, he has remained in custody. While at North Kern, prison staff will evaluate his background, medical and psychological history, and social ties to determine appropriate work and educational activities during his sentence.
