Former US President Donald Trump, in an interview on September 22, hinted that he likely wouldn’t run for president again in 2028 if he loses the upcoming election against Vice President Kamala Harris.
When asked about a potential third bid for the White House, Trump, 78, responded, “No, I don’t. I think … that will be it.” He expressed optimism about his chances in the 2024 election, stating, “Hopefully, we’re gonna be successful.”
Reflecting on his previous presidency, Trump emphasized his impact, suggesting he could be even more effective if elected again. He also noted the advantage of being out of office, as it highlighted what he perceives as the failures of the current administration.
Despite the challenges and threats he faces, Trump maintained that fear would not affect his ability to govern, stating, “I can’t be scared, because if you’re scared, you can’t do your job.”
