VDM Releases Two Videos as Evidence Against Bobrisky Ahead of House of Representatives Hearing

Martins Otse, also known as Verydarkman (VDM), confirmed on Sunday, September 29, that he will appear before the House of Representatives on Monday, September 30. The House Committee invited VDM, Bobrisky (Idris Okuneye), the EFCC chairman, and the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS) to address allegations of corruption and bribery.

Ahead of the hearing, VDM released two videos as evidence against Bobrisky, which sparked reactions from Nigerians. One of the videos featured Bishop Kayode Williams, the Director General of the Prison Rehabilitation Mission, explaining why Bobrisky might have been kept outside the prison walls due to his transgender identity. Despite identifying as a man, Bobrisky’s appearance as a woman required special accommodation in prison.

VDM also shared a clip from the “Curiosity Made Me Ask” podcast, where Bobrisky discussed his prison experience and whether he was housed in a male or female facility.

The crossdresser responded by saying:

That is deep, I spent it at the male correctional centre and I love it. And I will give you reason why I love it, if they had allowed me to stay in the female correctional centre, I won’t have fun, I won’t enjoy myself, while I was at the male correctional centre, I was the only different person there, so people were nice to me, they were showing me care, they were given me stuffs.”

VDM pointed out the discrepancies between Bobrisky’s video and that of Bishop Williams about the crossdresser’s prison experience.
