“At 14, I Was Involved in Armed Robbery,” Says Popular Cleric Odumeje as He Reflects on His Past.

Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, widely known as Odumeje, the General Overseer of the Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention Deliverance Ministry, has shared insights into his life prior to becoming a preacher.

In a viral video, Odumeje revealed that he grew up in a perilous neighborhood in Onitsha, Anambra State, which had a negative impact on him. Consequently, he turned to armed robbery during his teenage years. However, he credited God for using his mother to guide him toward salvation.

“I was born in Onitsha city. No 3, Nnewi street. And I grew up in a dangerous street. I became an armed robber at the age of 14.”

“I became a terrorist until Jesus Christ arrest me through the help of my mother to change my life… a destroyer become a saviour,”

he said,
