Kellyrae has been crowned the winner of the Big Brother Naija season 9 ‘No Loose Guard’ edition.
Kellyrae secured the top spot, surpassing Wanni, who finished in second place, and Onyeka, who came third.
As the champion, Kellyrae takes home a cash prize of N60 million. She also receives a brand new car valued at N40 million. This brings the total prize to N100 million.
Kellyrae entered the show alongside his wife, Kassia, who was evicted during the penultimate week.
The first edition of BBNaija, held in 2006, was won by 38-year-old Katung Aduwak. In Season 2’s ‘See Gobe’ edition, Efe Ejeba emerged as the winner, competing with housemates like Bisola, Kemen, and TBoss.
In 2018, Miracle claimed victory in Season 3, titled ‘Double Wahala.’ The following year, Mercy Eke, also known as Lambo, became the first female winner of BBNaija. She secured the title in Season 4 after facing off against housemates like Tacha, Mike, and Omashola.
Laycon won the prize package worth N85 million in 2020’s Season 5. In 2021, Hazel Oyeze “Whitemoney” Onou was crowned the champion of Season 6, taking home ₦90 million in prizes.
Ijeoma Josephina “Phyna” Otabor emerged victorious in the seventh season in 2022. She walked away with 100 million naira. Ilebaye Odiniya claimed the top prize of 120 million naira in the 2023 eighth season.
