Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has expressed frustration over the consistent social media taunts from many Nigerians.
Naija News reports that Bobrisky has made headlines after an alleged audio surfaced, where he claimed to have paid the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to drop money laundering charges. He also mentioned securing a private apartment for his prison term, as revealed by social critic, VeryDarkMan.
In the audio clip, a person alleged to be Bobrisky claimed to have contacted rapper Falz to ask his father, Femi Falana, for help in securing a presidential pardon. On October 14, the Falanas sent a letter through their lawyers, demanding an apology from Bobrisky within 12 hours or face legal action. Bobrisky, however, denied any connection to the audio and stated he never paid Falana or Falz for a pardon.
In a video shared on the Instagram page on Thursday, Bobrisky said he was tired of the continuous social media saga and wondered if he was the only celebrity in Nigeria.Bobrisky also questioned what he had done or bought from anyone that Nigerians would not allow him to rest.
“I can’t take this anymore, I’m exhausted,” Bobrisky laments.
