Halle Berry has achieved a significant victory in her protracted custody dispute with ex-husband Olivier Martinez. A judge has ruled in her favor regarding a disagreement over their required co-parenting therapy sessions.
The conflict arose when Berry alleged that Martinez attempted to pause their mandated therapy during the summer. She requested court intervention to ensure that Martinez would continue attending the sessions.
According to recent legal documents obtained by TMZ, the judge agreed with Berry’s request, although it was noted that Martinez had already complied by the time the issue was brought to court. This ruling marks a small win for Berry in the ongoing legal battle between the former couple, who were married from 2013 to 2016.
Their divorce was finalized in August 2023 after eight years of legal proceedings. They share an 11-year-old son named Maceo. In addition to the ruling on co-parenting, the judge instructed both Berry and Martinez to refrain from discussing custody issues with Maceo or making disparaging remarks about one another or their current partners in front of their son.
