The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has scheduled Nigeria’s final qualifying match for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations against Rwanda for Monday, November 18, at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
This match, part of Group D, will conclude the qualifying rounds for the 35th Africa Cup of Nations finals set to take place in Morocco from December 2025 to January 2026. Moroccan officials have been appointed for the match, with referee Samir Guezzaz overseeing the game, which will kick off at 5 PM Nigeria time.
Prosper Harrison Addo from Ghana will serve as the commissioner for Nigeria’s match against Rwanda, while Ali Mohamed Ahmed from Somalia will act as the referee assessor.
For the Matchday 5 clash with Benin Republic on Thursday, November 14, at the Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny, CAF has appointed Senegalese officials, with Issa Sy as the referee. Djibril Camara, Nouha Bangoura, and El Hadji Amadou Sy will be the assistant referees and fourth official, respectively.
Ivorian Rene Williams Sere will be the commissioner, and Angolan Inacio Manuel Candido will serve as the referee assessor for this match, which starts at 7 PM CIV time (8 PM Nigeria time).
