In its opening weekend, Moana 2 grossed N106.4 million, making it one of the highest-performing films in Nigeria for 2024. The sequel has now become the third-largest box office performer of the year in Nigeria, reflecting Disney’s enduring popularity and the universal appeal of its animated stories.
Globally, Moana 2 has earned $600 million, placing it among the top 40 highest-grossing animated films of all time. Analysts predict it will continue to rise in rankings.
