“Trump Lashes Out at Death-Row Inmates Granted Clemency, Tells Them ‘Go to Hell’ in Christmas Day Message”

President-elect Donald Trump shared a scathing Christmas Day message on his Truth Social platform, targeting several individuals, including federal death-row inmates granted clemency by President Biden.

Trump specifically addressed the 37 violent criminals who had their sentences commuted by Biden, writing, “To the 37 most violent criminals, who killed, raped, and plundered like virtually no one before them, but were just given, incredibly, a pardon by Sleepy Joe Biden,” before adding, “I refuse to wish a Merry Christmas to those lucky ‘souls’ but, instead, will say, GO TO HELL!”

Biden had commuted the sentences of 37 of the 40 men on federal death row, reducing their sentences to life in prison without the possibility of parole. The commutations were part of Biden’s efforts to ensure a fair and effective justice system, according to the White House.

Trump, 78, also used his Christmas message to criticize China, Canada, and what he called “Radical Left Lunatics,” while reaffirming his stance on U.S. control over the Panama Canal and Greenland.

“Merry Christmas to all, including to the wonderful soldiers of China, who are illegally operating the Panama Canal,” Trump wrote. “Also, to Governor Justin Trudeau of Canada, whose citizens’ taxes are too high, but if Canada became our 51st state, their taxes would drop by over 60%, their businesses would double, and they would have military protection like no other country.”

Trump also remarked on Greenland’s importance to U.S. national security, adding, “Merry Christmas to the Radical Left Lunatics, who are constantly trying to obstruct our court system and elections and attacking the great citizens and patriots of the U.S., especially me.”
