Prince Agbara, a friend of the deceased, shared the heartbreaking news on Facebook. He revealed that Dr. Tony, who was healthy and well on Christmas Day, tragically lost his life the following day after drinking the poisoned beverage. Agbara wrote, “This is disheartening. Someone who was alive and healthy on the 25th was poisoned on the 26th. He vomited and that was it, all at the hands of his kinsman. When the culprit realized my friend had passed, he fled with his family.”
The incident has sparked outrage in the community, with many calling for justice and a thorough investigation. Authorities have yet to issue an official statement or confirm whether efforts are underway to apprehend the suspect.
