Abreu, who previously worked as an OnlyFans model and appeared on a Channel 4 program about swinging, admitted to misconduct in a public office. The judge characterized her actions as part of ârepeated behaviorâ rather than an isolated incident.
A former prison officer has been sentenced to 15 months in jail for engaging in sexual activity with an inmate at HMP Wandsworth.
Judge Edmunds criticized her actions for undermining years of efforts to establish respect for female officers in a predominantly male environment. Similarly, HMP Wandsworth Governor Andrew Davy highlighted how her conduct had reversed progress in promoting professionalism and respect within the institution.
Abreuâs defense attorney, Rajiv Menon KC, argued that her behavior was influenced by a severe personality disorder and ADHD, which led to impulsive and reckless decisions. The court was told that she used sexual activity as a way to cope and experience positive emotions.
Although Abreu took full responsibility for her actions, she was visibly emotional as the sentence was delivered. She will serve half of her 15-month sentence in custody, with the remainder under supervision on license. The judge also acknowledged the 95 days she had already served under curfew.
