Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s new chief of staff has parted ways with the couple.
Josh Kettler, who served as the Duke of Sussex’s chief of staff, has stepped down after just three months in the role.
According to People, the decision to part ways was mutual, with both parties agreeing it wasn’t the right fit.
Kettler began his role just a week before Prince Harry and Meghan’s official visit to Nigeria in May and also accompanied Prince Harry to London to mark the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.
Previously based in Santa Barbara, California, Kettler was the chief of staff and head of strategic partnerships at the communication platform Cognixion.
This news comes less than two weeks after Colombia’s vice president, Francia Márquez, announced that Prince Harry and Meghan would visit the country in the future.
Although the dates for the visit have not yet been confirmed, Márquez expressed her pleasure at the upcoming visit in a statement. As Vice President of Colombia and Minister of Equality and Equity, Márquez shared that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have graciously accepted her invitation to visit Colombia.
The visit will include stops in Bogotá, Cartagena, and Cali, where Prince Harry and Meghan will engage with leaders, youth, and women who represent the aspirations of Colombians committed to progress.
“In addition to these meaningful interactions, the Duke and Duchess will experience the rich heritage of Colombia,” Márquez added.
