Mr. Ola Olukoyede, Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has ordered an immediate investigation into bribery allegations made by Idris Okuneye (a.k.a. Bobrisky) against certain EFCC officers in a widely circulated video. Okuneye claimed that unnamed EFCC officers accepted N15 million from him to drop money laundering charges.
In response, the EFCC has formed an investigative team and invited both Okuneye and Martins Vincent Otse (a.k.a. VeryDarkMan) to assist in the inquiry at its Lagos Directorate. The EFCC is committed to thoroughly investigating the claims and will publicly disclose the findings. The Commission emphasizes its dedication to integrity, professionalism, and collaboration.
