Israel’s military has reported that Hezbollah’s leader, Hassan Nasrallah, was killed in an airstrike in Beirut.
In a statement on Saturday morning, September 28, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) declared, “The IDF will persist in targeting anyone who supports and participates in terrorism against the citizens of the State of Israel.”
The statement further noted, “Under precise intelligence guidance from the intelligence wing and defense system, Air Force fighter jets struck Hezbollah’s central headquarters, which is located underground beneath a residential building in the Dahyeh area of Beirut.”
