The court has ordered former Kogi Governor Yahaya Bello to appear for arraignment on October 24, where he will face charges alongside two other defendants, Umar Oricha and Abdulsalami Hudu, regarding a N110.4 billion fraud case.

Justice Maryanne Anenih issued a public summons after the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) reported difficulties in serving Bello the charges filed on September 24. She instructed the EFCC to publish the summons in a widely circulated newspaper and to display copies at Bello’s last known address and within the court premises. The arraignment was postponed due to Bello’s absence, which had originally been scheduled for Thursday.
