The National Grid has collapsed for the third time this week, with power generation shutting down around 8:16 a.m. on Saturday, October 19.
Earlier this week, the grid also failed on Monday and Tuesday, though it was subsequently restored.
As of 8 a.m., power generation was at 3,042 megawatts, reaching a peak of 3,968MW by 7 a.m. However, by 9 a.m., this had drastically fallen to just 47MW.
Power distribution companies were allocated 0.00MW, and the reason for the collapse remains unknown.
