Musician Portable has responded to VeryDarkMan (VDM), who criticized him for allegedly assaulting a man at Felabration, an event honoring the late Afrobeat legend, Fela. VDM had posted a video showing Portable hitting a man in a restroom, expressing his disapproval and urging Portable to stop assaulting people.

In response, Portable shared a video on Instagram, challenging VDM to face him in real life, saying, “Online madness is different from real life madness. I’ll bend you, fix you, and cripple you. I’m a one-man battalion. If I catch you… You’re using Abuja to threaten me? Go ask about me in Maraba Nyanya, Use, Babangida market, and Lagos.”

Portable also explained the altercation, claiming the man he assaulted had taken money for five shows and disappeared for six months. He questioned why the man had accepted payment when he wasn’t his manager. Portable further accused VDM of ruining his business relationships with influential people who typically support Nigerian entertainers.
